Item Az Bilinen Lateks İçerikli Ürünlerle Temas: İki Kontakt Dermatit Olgusu(2015-10-01) Koyuncu, Aynur; Eti Aslan, Fatma; Yava, AylaÖZET Lateks alerjisi hastaları ve sağlık çalışanlarını tehdit eden önemli bir sağlık sorunudur. Lateks alerjisi kontakt dermatitden, ölümcül riskler taşıyan anaflaksiye kadar farklı derecelerde görülebilir. İntraoperatif dönemde oluşan anaflaksilerin önemli bir bölümünden lateks sorumlu tutulmaktadır. Preoperatif dönemde yapılan etkin bir alerji sorgulaması intraoperatif dönemde oluşabilecek olumsuz sonuçları önleyebilir. Önemsiz gibi görülen kontakt dermatit olgularının nedeni lateks alerjisi olabilir. Bu makalede biri alerji sorgulaması yapılmadan acil bir şekilde yoğun bakıma alınan ve diğeri preoperatif dönemde yapılan alerji sorgulamasında özellikle plastik alerjisi şeklinde belirtilmediği için alerjisi olmadığını belirten hastada gelişen kontakt dermatit olgusunun sunulması amaçlandı. Lateks alerjisinin preoperatif dönemde tanımlanması ile planlı girişimlerde ve operasyon esnasında lateks içermeyen ürünler kullanılarak oluşabilecek anaflaksi önlenebilir. Lateks’ten kaynaklanan anaflaksiyi önlemede H1, H2 reseptör antogonistleri ve steroid gibi ilaç proflaksileri etkili değildir. Lateks alerjisinden korunma ancak maruziyetin engellenmesi ile sağlanabilir.Item Management of a Neonate with a Rare Congenital Palatosubglossal Synechia in Pierre Robin Sequence(Acıbadem Mehmet Ali Aydınlar Üniversitesi, 2015-10-01) Yılmaz, Kahraman Berkhan; Canter, Halil İbrahim; Çakmakçı, Mustafa EnginABSTRACT Development of the human face begins in the fourth week of gestation, as a series of several complicated and well-organized sequential intrauterine events, disruption of which causes some sort of facial dismorhogenesis. Oral synechiae is a rare congenital anomaly usually recognized at birth secondary to airway or nutritional compromise. They help to understand the intrauterine developmental steps of the facial region. In this particular case with congenital palatosubglossal synechia, anterior soft palate of the patient with Pierre Robin sequence was repaired with the oral mucosal flap elevated from the floor of the mouth by using the synechial band as the pedicle of the flap.Item Case Report: Uniportal Video Assisted Thoracoscopic Excision of a Giant Thymic Cyst Mimicking a Pericardial Cyst(Acıbadem Mehmet Ali Aydınlar Üniversitesi, 2015-10-01) Alzafer, Suha; Okur, Erdal; Halezeroğlu, SemihABSTRACT Most of the mediastinal cysts are benign but still needs surgical excision for a definitive diagnosis and to prevent compressive symptoms. Radiological examination itself may sometimes have limited diagnostic value. A pericardial cyst is always a benign lesion and does not need an excision unless it reaches to an extreme size while a thymic cyst should be excised when diagnosed since it may rarely show malignant degeneration. Here we present an extreme sized thymic cyst radiologically mimicking a pericardial cyst.
