    Metachromatic leukodystrophy (MLD) is a rare inherited neurodegenerative disorder caused by a deficiency of a lysosomal enzyme arylsulphatase A. Herein, we report the case of a patient with late-onset MLD who presented with symptoms inconsistent with traumatic brain injury.
